Privacy Policy

Nalio Inc. · Effective July 27, 2026

Nalio helps leaders and their teams adopt AI responsibly, and we hold ourselves to the standard we teach. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what we do with it, in plain language.

Who we are

Nalio Inc. is an AI consulting firm based in Ontario, Canada. Roanie Levy, Founder, is responsible for the protection of personal information at Nalio. You can reach her at roanie@nalio.ai or by mail at 5 Relmar Gardens, Toronto, Ontario M5P 1S1.

What we collect

We collect personal information in four situations, and in each case only what the purpose needs.

When you contact us. The contact form on this site and our booking calendar collect your name, email address, and whatever you choose to tell us about your inquiry.

When you join our mailing list. When you opt in, through this site or when registering for an event we run with a partner, we receive the information you provided with your consent: typically your name, email address, job title, organization, and general location.

When we work together. Client engagements involve business contact information for the people we work with, and sometimes personal information contained in the materials a client asks us to work on. That information is governed first by our agreement with the client.

When you visit this site. Our website is a simple one. It does not require an account and does not collect personal information beyond what you submit through the contact form.

How we use it

We use personal information to respond to inquiries, deliver our services, run events, and, where you have consented, send emails about AI courses, webinars, and practical guidance on putting AI to work. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Marketing emails and your consent

Every marketing email we send exists because you opted in, and every one includes an unsubscribe link that works immediately. You can also withdraw consent at any time by emailing roanie@nalio.ai. Withdrawing consent stops marketing email; it does not affect correspondence you have asked for.

How we use AI

We practise what we advise. Nalio uses AI tools in its work, under the same rules we help clients build: personal and client information goes only into enterprise tools that commit, by contract, to keeping data out of model training and under our control. It never goes into free or public AI tools. Where AI materially contributes to client work, we say so.

Who else touches your information

We use a small number of service providers to run the business: email, scheduling, document storage, and similar tools. Each one is bound by its terms to process information only on our behalf. Some of these providers store data outside Canada, typically in the United States, which means your information may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions while it is there. We choose providers whose data protections we have reviewed, which is the same vendor test we teach.

When we run events with a partner, such as a media company hosting a webinar, the partner collects registration information under its own privacy policy, and we receive only what you consented to share with us.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as the purpose it was collected for requires, plus any period the law requires. Mailing-list information is kept until you unsubscribe. Client records are kept for the retention period our professional and tax obligations set.

How we protect it

Personal information at Nalio lives in access-controlled, reputable commercial systems with encryption in transit and at rest. Access is limited to the people who need it, which at a firm our size is a short list.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to what the law requires us to keep. Write to roanie@nalio.ai and we will respond within thirty days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or your provincial privacy regulator.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, the new version appears here with a new effective date. A material change in how we use information already collected will be communicated to the people it affects.
